MEP visits St Joseph’s

MEP Martina Anderson pictured  with St Joseph’s Vice Principal Mrs Mulligan, Councillor Terry Hearty, Mickey Brady MLA, Student Council Chairperson Mrs Burns, Senior Prefects and members of the Student Council. ‘Cross’ Success for St. Joseph’s in Schools Running Event

On Tuesday 11th November over 40 pupils from St. Joseph’s High School Crossmaglen took part in the Post-Primary Cross Country Championship event at Kilbroney Park, Rostrevor. The Newry and Mourne district event saw a host of School’s from the area take part, with the St. Joseph’s pupils digging deep in atrocious weather conditions to take home a fine haul of medals and plaques. Alyssa Shields a year 9 pupil from St. Joseph’s,  was delighted to have her beautiful poster chosen as one of the 13 winners in the 2015 School’s environmental Calendar competition.  Alyssa’s creative design will be the focal point for the month of May in the 2015 calendar.
