Shared Education Project for local schools

As part of the Shared Education Signature Project (SESP) students from local schools were invited for a day’s learning in Newry High School. The SESP encourages schools to make collaborations with schools from other sectors an integral part of school life thereby creating enhanced educational and personal development opportunities for everyone involved. Children in Crossfire Maths Challenge at St. Joseph’s

On Thursday 11th February Year 8 pupils at St. Joseph’s took part in the 2016 Children in Crossfire Maths Challenge. Throughout the morning pupils used the mediums of numeracy and mathematics to enhance their understanding of the work carried out by the Children in Crossfire charity. St Joseph’s Welcome Primary Six Pupils

One hundred and ninety Primary Six and Rang a Se pupils from all the local feeder Primary schools took part in an activity day in St Joseph’s High School, Crossmaglen. The purpose of the day was to introduce them to life in St Joseph’s and to sample five subjects that are on the curriculum.
