STEM module visits St Joseph’s.

The visit was organised by Mr Mulholland (Head of Technology and Design) and Mrs Begley (Head of CEIAG). The STEM concept aims to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics as career choices for young people. The STEM Module brings the subjects closer to schools and pupils by allowing them access to high-quality equipment and recourses. CSI and Titanic STEM workshops

As part of our Careers Programme pupils in Year 9 participated in CSI and Titanic workshops in the STEM centre in Dungannon on Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th September 2015. Pupils were fully engaged in the active learning environment which the STEM centre offers.  Pupils gained an insight into a variety of careers ranging from Forensic Scientist to Engineering. Pupils thoroughly enjoyed this fun filled day.
