During Seachtain na Gaeilge Week, pupils have the opportunity to take part in Feis Ard Mhacha where they can participate in an oral or recite a poem. Some of our pupils have been awarded medals and the adjudicators commented on the very high standard of Irish in both the Conversation and Poetry section. St Joseph’s was awarded Gaeltacht Scholarships from Comhaltas Uladh in the past. We also run an art competition during Seachtain na Gaeilge in conjuction with the Art Department.

We run a ceiilí in house and a couple of tráth na gCeisteanna for year 8,9 and 10 pupils. Winners of the Trath na gCeist 2014 below.
