In Year 8, 9 and 10, pupils will have opportunities to:

  • Plan for investigations, obtaining evidence, presenting and interpreting results
  • Develop creative and critical thinking in their approach to solving scientific problems
  • Research scientific information from a range of sources
  • Develop a range of practical skills, including the safe use of science

During Year 10 our pupils are given the opportunity to choose from Single Award Science, Double Award Science and BTEC Science.  Pupils are involved in meetings with the staff to help them with that decision.
