In Year 8, 9 and 10, pupils will have opportunities to:

  • Plan for investigations, obtaining evidence, presenting and interpreting results
  • Develop creative and critical thinking in their approach to solving scientific problems
  • Research scientific information from a range of sources
  • Develop a range of practical skills, including the safe use of science

During Year 10 our pupils are given the opportunity to choose from Single Award Science, Double Award Science and Agriculture & Land Use.  Pupils are involved in meetings with the staff to help them with that decision.
