Students from St Joseph’s High School have taken part in the Southern Regional College’s recent Inter-Campus Skill Build Competition.

The Inter-Campus competition, was held at SRC’s Portadown Campus. This was the first stage of the renowned Skill Build Competition. The competition drew together students from all campuses of SRC. The Skill Build competition is the largest multi-trade competition in the UK for young students and apprentices. It covers crafts including carpentry, joinery, bricklaying and plastering. Thirty skills competitions took place on the day with industry experts judging the work and skills of the students.

St Joseph’s students were awarded the following prizes: Seamus Maughan – 1st Painting and Decorating, Megan McNamee -3rd Make-up, Terry Quinn -1st Tiling and Jake Hearne – 3rd Painting and Decorating.
